Phone Bank : Inactive & Redistricted Voters
Help us reach New Orleanians on the “inactive” list before the October voter registration deadlines!
Join us on Thursdays for a non-partisan phone bank, organized by Indivisible and Step Up Louisiana. We will be targeting roughly 3,000 Orleans Parish Voters on the inactive voter list that have also been redistricted, to make sure their voice will be heard this election cycle.
You can participate in person or VIRTUALLY. The link to access the phone bank and training materials will be sent out to all those who RSVP!
Stand Up For Democracy
The Stand Up For Democracy neighborhood pop-up protests are a familiar and inspiring presence across New Orleans. What began quietly, with two groups separately demonstrating on Carrollton and on Napoleon, grew into a city-wide movement. One neighborhood sparked another, and soon the protests spread organically across town. These pop-ups exist to fill the space between large, scheduled demonstrations. They keep the fire alive when headlines fade. By showing up again and again, the protestors remind their communities that no one is alone in caring about democracy.
No need to sign up; just show up!
